The holiday season officially begins in Downtown Longview with the lighting of the 23.5-foot Christmas tree at Heritage Plaza. The annual tradition features pictures with Santa, music, carriage rides, petting zoo, Ollie's Faux Snow Hill, food trucks, and vendors. The event is hosted by the Longview Main Street program in conjunction with the Downtown Longview nonprofit One Hundred Acres of Heritage and is made possible thanks to sponsors like VeraBank, Service Master, Cammack Family Welch Funeral Home, and Ollie's Skate Shop.. The theme this year is a Magical Movie Christmas Tree Lighting!
Vendor registration is being organized in conjunction with Market Maven productions. Cost is $50 for a 10x10 booth or $85 for a 10x20 booth. To register as a vendor, please utilize the online form.
The Downtown Longview Christmas Tree Lighting is made possible thanks to generous sponsorships from community businesses. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Please contact the Longview Main Street Coordinator at 903-239-5538 for more details.
