Free parking is plentiful in Downtown Longview, including time-limited on-street parking as well as all-day parking in the Gregg County parking facility and City of Longview parking lots.

Gregg County’s new parking facility, offering safe, secure, covered and free all-day parking. Thanks to Gregg County leadership, this new parking facility is available for general public use.   

  • 100 E. Methvin Street. (Vehicle entrance on Center Street)

  • Mon -  Thurs.  6 a.m - 11 p.m.;  Friday - Saturday: 6 a.m. - 1 a.m.;    Sunday: Closed

  • 293 Free All-Day parking spaces

  • For after hours release of a vehicle from the parking facility, drivers can contact the Sheriff's Dispatch phone number posted at the facility entrance: 903-236-8400.

On-Street Parking

On-street parking in the downtown area is designated as 2-hour time-limited parking during the hours of 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday - Friday. There is no time limit after hours or on the weekend. On-street parking is intended to support customer convenience and visitor access, helping ensure that our downtown remains welcoming, vibrant, and easy to navigate for everyone.

We ask you to please prioritize the on-street parking spaces for customers. Please avoid using the on-street parking for employee or resident multi-hour parking. Also, please do not use the on-street loading zones for anything except loading or unloading.
