Day 1
7 am: Spend a nice relaxing morning fishing on Martin Lake State Park. Just you, your fishing tackle, a packed breakfast, and a hot cup of coffee. Be taken in by the sounds of nature and the Piney Woods of East Texas. Sometimes just going out there with nothing but a thermos of coffee and a good book is the best.

10 am: Go back to the hotel and get cleaned up before heading to Nip-It-Golf for a round of indoor simulated golf. One of the amazing features about this place is that it’s almost like you are inside a video game. They have clubs you can use or you can bring your own.
Noon: Satisfy your hunger at the “Queen B”, Bodacious BBQ for some of the best brisket this side of Texas. Bodacious is so good in fact that it was ranked #4 in Texas as having the best bbq, and we all know how big Texas is!

3 pm: Relax in a heated recliner at the AMC Theater while enjoying a movie. It gets a bit chilly in there so you might want to bring a jacket or sweater.
6 pm: Spice up your bowling skills at the Longview Oil Bowl.
9 pm: Sit back and enjoy a game of football, hockey, or a good UFC fight on the big screen while snacking on hot wings and fries at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Day 2
9 am: Enjoy the Scrambled Egg Platter with sausage and coffee at The Butcher Shop.
10 am: Take in a relaxing hot air balloon ride with Dr. Bill Bussey at Balloon Adventure USA.
12:30 pm: Drive a short distance to relive history at the Gregg County Historical Museum and learn about the first bank robbery in Longview by the Dalton Gang as well as Longview’s first Minor League Baseball team known as “The Cannibals.”
2 pm: Stop in at Deb’s Diner and have the Trio. Its three ways of goodness. After eating at Deb’s, grab a coffee at the Silver Grizzly to go and enjoy a leisure stroll in historic downtown and visit some of Longview’s notable shops.

3:30 pm: Drive a short distance to Thomas Falls and enjoy an adrenaline-filled adventure as you zip-line through the pine trees land in a cool, refreshing lake, or on land. Either way you’ll have a blast.
7 pm: End the day with a performance at the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center.
Check business hours and performance times before you go. They are subject to change.
